At Cavendish Junior School, we want our children to be enthusiastic about Maths and recognise the this skill is integral in everything that we do; it is critical to science, technology and engineering, and necessary for financial literacy and most forms of employment.
We use PowerMaths as our scheme of work which we feel forms a balance of practise and challenge. Our children are able to talk about their understanding to their partner, and are offered consolidation lessons if they require further support.
