Visionaries

We want our children to be as creative as possible, we offer this through challenges such as our Poetry Slam, our Art and Design Technology lessons, our Writing lessons, organisation of clubs and Pupil Parliament to name just a few.  If our children have dreams and ideas and strive to make these dreams become a reality, they are on their way to a very bright future.

Below is an example of a speech our Prime Minister wrote on Anti-Bullying:

Besides from the jokes that have been shown in this skit, bullying is s erious matter of which many children and teens suffer with daily.  Bullying can have a major impact on the victims' mental health and well being which can lead to depression and, sometimes, the memories can carry on into adult hood.  Especially verbal bullying as you can not take back your words.

If you are being bullied, inform a trusted adult whether that be a teacher or parent/guardian.  I know it might feel like the bullying will never end or will escalate and get worse if you tell an adult, however this is not true.  They will help you and get the situation sorted.

If you witness someone being bullied don't stand by and allow it to happen, tell someone and help the victim.  Understand how badly bullying affects the victim and even saying a couple of words to them could make their day.

Don't be a bully, be a buddy.
